Like taking a deep, comforting breath the moment you step outside after a storm, D.S. & Durga’s Big Sur After Rain Candle evokes rain-soaked beaches, lush vegetation and windswept coastal walks.
Encased in peach tinted glass with a monochrome illustration that captures quite perfectly the spirit of its scent, each of D.S. & Durga’s evocative candles is designed to look chic on your mantlepiece as it transports you to a moment in time. This warm scent features fresh top notes of coastal rain, heart notes of sweet-but-relaxing magnolia and base notes of intensely comforting eucalyptus leaf and wet wood. Light the wick and imagine yourself driving the Highway 1, surrounded by huge grey skies and crashing white waves.
It is important to trim wick before each use. When using the candle for the first time, keep the candle alight until the entire surface is covered in liquid wax. This should take approximately one hour and will ensure a more effective, even burn for all future uses.
