Burning & Care
Before using for the first time, leave the candle lit for at least 2-3 hours. This causes the wax to melt at the edge of the glass. Our candles are designed to burn all the way to the edges. This allows maximum use of the wax in each candle.
Shortening wick
Keep the wick max. 5-8 mm long before use. Use a wick trimmer or cut off the too long piece of wick before lighting it.
Cracking
When a 100% soy candle is exposed to temperatures below 70 degrees, it can develop micro-cracks in the wax. The cracks will not affect the candle's performance and will disappear after the candle is lit. When the candle is heated to 70 degrees and above, the cracks usually disappear. The colder the temperature, the more likely the candle will be exposed to deeper cracks.
